Antique GALLOWAY Pottery Philadelphia Terra Cotta Bird Bath

Founded in 1810 as Galloway and Graff. Originally on 1725 Marker St.

Galloway moved to Walnut St. Won the Philadelphia 1876 Exposition and expositions in Chicago and St. Galloway worked on Grand Central Station but now torn down. Catalogues show how copies of Greek and Roman Classic design were used. Found in a yard in Iowa City Iowa which used to be the Capital of Iowa.

This one has marking and I continue to attempt to locate the marking. Fabulous and I have it inside as a center piece.
